Biomass Pellet Machine Purchasing: Core Pitfall Avoidance Guide

2026-09-14 08:23:07

There are many easily overlooked hidden traps in biomass pellet machine procurement.

Here are 4 practical tips to help buyers avoid risks and make reliable decisions.

1. Avoid abnormally low-priced pellet machines

Many unqualified small factories assemble machines with thin, substandard steel and refurbished motors.

These devices typically develop cracked casings and frequent motor failures after only 3 months of use.

Buyers should ask suppliers for raw material certificates and core component brand authorizations to confirm qualified manufacturing quality.

2. Reject one pellet machine fits all materials propaganda

Raw materials differ greatly in fiber content, humidity and hardness.

General ring dies often achieve a forming rate of less than 60% for special materials.

It is strongly recommended to test your own materials on-site at the factory, and verify actual forming rate,

output and energy consumption before purchasing.

3. Verify real project cases

Some suppliers fake project cases and have no actual experience in pellet machine production line delivery.

For overseas buyers, check their export customs records and CE certificates to confirm their formal cross-border supply and qualification capabilities.

4. Confirm complete after-sales service

Some suppliers only deliver pellet machines without installation, commissioning and technical training.

Self-installation usually causes poor line matching and failure to reach standard output.

Make sure the full-process service scope and response time are clearly stated in the contract.
