1. Raw Material Type & Moisture Content
Feed: Corn, soybean meal, bran, etc. → Use a flat die/ring die feed pellet machine
Wood chips, straw: High fiber content, high hardness → Requires a high-power ring die/flat die biomass pellet machine
Organic fertilizer: High moisture content → Requires a forced feeding + high-pressure pellet machine
Moisture Control:
Feed: 12%–18%
Biomass: 15%–25%
Too wet, no pellets will form; too fine, it will clog the mill and fail to form pellets.
