Wood chippers are sibling machines to pellet machines.
1. The latest model features a front-opening feeding mechanism, which can be considered a comprehensive crusher, capable of crushing various types of materials, especially fibrous materials like branches, which can be easily fed in.
2. The older model features a rear-opening feeding mechanism, which effectively selects large-sized materials and prevents overflow and jamming caused by oversized materials.
3. Both the new and old feeding mechanisms are equipped with hydraulic cylinder buffer devices, which effectively press the material to feed it in and lift the feeding mechanism to prevent it from colliding with the machine body when falling.
