The lifespan of a biomass pellet machine ring die primarily depends on the quality of the die itself. Other factors include the machine model, raw material formulation, compression ratio, operational adjustments, maintenance, equipment process conditions, and the removal of impurities and iron from the raw materials. Ring die prices vary widely in the market, sometimes significantly, which confuses many buyers. The difference lies in the processing cost. For a mature ring die manufacturer, higher production costs mean higher quality ring dies, resulting in a higher selling price. High-quality pellet machine ring dies require less frequent replacement, leading to lower per-ton costs. High-quality ring dies also wear out more slowly, with a lower probability of cracking, uneven pressure, or blockage.
