Please observe these ring die storage guidelines:
Replace the oily filler inside the ring die after every six months of storage.
Hardened old filler will clog the pellet machine.
Store the ring die in a dry, clean and well ventilated area.
Coat it with waste oil for rust proofing when not in use.
Keep it clear of damp raw materials, as they accelerate corrosion.
When you remove the ring die from the pellet machine as a spare part,
push all raw materials out of the die holes with oily material before shutting down.
Damp residue will roughen die hole walls and lead to feeding problems later.
