Raw Material Management for Pellet Machine Production

2026-07-02 10:25:13

In biomass pellet production, the planning and classification of raw material stockpiles directly impact finished product quality and production capacity,

and also directly determine the production stability of the pellet machine.

Mixed raw material stockpiling leads to unstable calorific value and ash content, resulting in inconsistent finished product quality.

Inconsistent material size and moisture content can cause process chaos, uneven pellet machine feeding, frequent blockages, and severely reduced production efficiency.

Standardized raw material storage requires only three steps:

classification by material (storage sawdust, bamboo shavings, straw, and bark separately);

classification by particle size (separate stockpiling of fine sawdust, wood chips, and chopped straw);

and classification by cleanliness (separate storage of mixed materials from clean raw materials).

Standardized raw material management can stabilize pellet quality, reduce raw material loss,

and ensure efficient and stable pellet machine production.

It is a key foundation for improving quality and efficiency and standardizing production in pellet plants.
