Whether your wood biomass pellet line needs a rotary dryer depends on the local climate, site space, and daily output.
Raw material moisture for pelleting must stay below 20%, with an ideal stable range of 13%–18%.
Too much moisture boosts power use, creates more waste dust, lowers pellet heat value,
and high-moisture pellets easily go moldy by sea and fail the basic quality standards for export.
You may remove the rotary dryer if your factory is in hot dry regions,
with surplus crushing capacity and large open yards for natural air drying.
We recommend a rotary dryer for humid, rainy factories with little space and high daily output.
It costs more at first, but it keeps raw material moisture steady, produces consistent good pellets,
avoids losses from rejected export goods, and helps you keep long-term export deals.
