The pressed roller is always a vulnerable part of the pellet machine. Currently, the wear ratio between the die and the pressed roller is approximately 1:2. If the pressed roller wears excessively, it is considered abnormal wear. It is recommended to check for the following reasons:
1. Pitted or scratched surfaces on the pressed roller are caused by hard impurities such as sand and iron filings. It is recommended to add an impurity removal process before raw material crushing.
2. Uneven feeding results in a thicker material on one side, accelerating pressed roller wear. It is recommended to change the scraper's properties or installation position.
3. The gap between the pellet machine pressed roller and the die is too tight, accelerating wear between the pressed roller and the ring die, and also affecting output. A normal gap is 0.2-0.5 mm.
4. Poor quality pressed roller material, not wear-resistant, and short service life.
