Tips for Straw Pellet Machine Choice

2026-10-12 09:29:51

There is a wide range of straw feedstock including wheat straw, corn straw and cotton stalk.

They vary greatly in fiber structure and moisture content.

To check if a straw pellet machine fits your raw materials, verify the machine's mature material adaptation solutions.

These include adjustable ring die compression ratio and matched conditioning processes.

Before purchase, send raw samples to the manufacturer. Run real pelletizing tests.

Check molding rate and pellet compactness.

Straw pellet machine output depends mainly on three factors:

raw material moisture (15%-20% recommended), raw grinding fineness (3–5 mm normally),

and properly matched motor power. Ring die opening rate and daily roller gap adjustment also directly affect instant output.

When selecting between vertical ring die pellet machines and flat die pellet machines,

vertical ring die pellet machine offer stable operation, uniform pellets and easy capacity expansion.

They fit medium and larger continuous production.

Flat die pellet machines have simple structure and lower upfront cost, but limited output and pellet quality.

For long-term formal production, vertical ring die pellet machines are the more dependable choice.
