The moisture content of the raw material is too high. What is the appropriate compression ratio of the pellet machine ring die?

The moisture content of the raw material is 30%-40%, and the pellets are not formed. What is the appropriate compression ratio of the pellet machine ring die? For this problem, I believe everyone often encounters it. Those who have used pellet machines know that pellet machines have strict requirements on the moisture content of raw materials, and the best is 13%-18%. Too dry or too wet will affect the pellet forming. If the moisture content is too high, the same molding temperature will reduce the heat transfer rate of the raw material, and the pellets will be loose and cracked. In addition, due to the high pressure generated when the raw material is pressed into the die hole, the machine power will be overloaded, which will cause the roller to slip. The moisture in the raw material forms water mist due to the high temperature, resulting in high temperature and die blocking, and the speed of the raw material passing through the die hole is very slow, the output is reduced, and the energy consumption is increased.
