3. If the blockage is severe, remove the die and clear it by boiling it in oil or drilling holes. The reassembled die should also be ground with oil and materials.

If the die gets clogged as soon as the material is fed in, and only a few particles are discharged, with high hardness, shiny appearance, or even carbonized and blackened particles, it is likely that the compression ratio of the pellet mill die is too high. The die compression ratio should be re-customized to suit the raw materials.
