A user asked for help because their pellet mill clogs shortly after starting to feed material. What could be the cause?

There are many reasons why a pellet machine might clog, such as: The material volume is too large; the moisture content is too high or too low; the ring die rollers are severely worn; the die's flared end is deformed due to compression; the large scraper angle or thickness is incorrect; the raw material is too soft and light, unable to be fed into the pressing chamber; or there is material accumulation in the pressing chamber, all of which can cause clogging. Here are some solutions for reference:

1. New dies need to be ground for about 15-30 minutes before production.

2. If material can still be discharged, you can use sand mixed with a small amount of machine oil mixed into the raw material to clear the blockage. Start with a low speed and gradually increase it, adding more oil as needed based on the output volume, until the blockage is completely cleared after the die heats up.
