There are several reasons why pellet mill output might not be hard enough. JNSHARE will discuss some of these reasons and corresponding solutions today.
1. Raw materials: Excessive impurities, high ash content, uneven particle size, or excessively fine raw materials can all lead to insufficient pellet hardness, or even prevent pellet formation altogether. Therefore, careful selection of raw materials is crucial to ensure their quality meets requirements.
2. High moisture content: One reason for insufficient pellet hardness is excessive moisture or high ambient humidity. Overly wet raw materials result in excessive air inside the pellets, making them less compact.
