Have you ever encountered this situation: your pellet mill was highly efficient when you first bought it, but after using it for a while, the efficiency decreased? Why does this happen? The following are the most common reasons for decreased pellet machine production efficiency:
1. Unstable raw material moisture content: If the raw material has too high a moisture content, there won't be much powder, but the pellet hardness will be lower than normal, and the pellets will easily crumble. If the raw material has low moisture content, it will be difficult to form pellets, resulting in too much powder.
2. Excessive wear on molds and other parts: Abnormal or excessive wear on mold parts can smooth the mold holes, causing the pellets to expand severely. Therefore, compared to normal values, the pellet pressure is lower, which seriously affects the pellet forming speed and leads to excessive powder.
