The key issues lie in the raw material's adhesiveness, conditioning and gelatinization degree, and ring die compression ratio.
Core Causes:
1. Insufficient gelatinization of starch-based raw materials, failing to form a stable binding structure;
2. Insufficient ring die compression ratio (compression ratio = effective ring die length / orifice diameter), resulting in low material extrusion density;
3. Incomplete cooling of the pellets produced by the pellet mill, leading to excessive internal moisture and easy breakage.
