These problems are mainly caused by uneven moisture and temperature after conditioning, and insufficient smoothness of the pellet mill's ring die orifice.
Core Causes:
1. Short conditioning time and insufficient steam pressure result in low gelatinization of the material, uneven internal moisture distribution, and easy cracking after extrusion;
2. The inner wall of the ring die orifice is not smooth and has burrs, causing scraping and forming unevenness or gill-like appearance during material extrusion;
3. The raw material has an excessively high coarse fiber content (over 20%), lacking sufficient binding components.
