3. Cutting and post-processing
(1) Cutting: After the pellets are extruded, they are cut by a cutter (adjustable position) according to the set length to control the length of the finished pellets.
(2)Post-processing (optional): The pellets just produced by the pellet machine are hot and may contain debris. They will be cooled (air-cooled/water-cooled to near room temperature) and screened (screen out broken pellets and powder) to ensure that the pellets are uniform and qualified. They can then be packaged and stored.
The whole process relies on mechanical pressure and die hole constraints to shape the raw materials. Different raw materials (such as wood chips, straw, feed) require adjustment of pellet machine ring die parameters (die hole diameter, compression ratio), pressure, temperature, etc. to ensure pellet quality and production efficiency.
