Excessive moisture in the raw material can cause the raw material inside the pellet mill to absorb moisture and soften, increasing internal friction and potentially causing the press roller to jam. Excessively long raw material particles can increase friction and resistance, leading to roller jamming. JNSHARE recommends adjusting the feed length or increasing the feed port diameter. Feeding raw materials too quickly can cause them to accumulate or clog the pelletizing bin, preventing the rollers from rotating. Blocking materials should be promptly cleared to ensure even feeding. Besides the normal wear on the pellet mill rollers caused by raw materials, the presence of impurities such as sand, gravel, and iron filings can cause the rollers to stop rotating or become stuck. This can even exacerbate roller wear.
