2. Improving the quality of finished pellets: The dried raw materials achieve a more uniform density, consistent forces during pelleting, and a smooth, moderately hard surface (biomass pellet density 0.8-1.3g/cm³). These pellets resist breakage during transportation and prevent mold formation caused by excessive moisture content during storage.
3. Reduce granulation energy consumption: Raw materials with high water content will increase the extrusion load of the pellet machine (it needs to overcome the viscosity caused by water), resulting in a 10%-20% increase in motor energy consumption; after drying, the raw materials have better fluidity, the wear of the pellet machine roller and mold is reduced, and the life of wearing parts is extended.
