What causes cow dung pellets to be short and broken after being pressed by a pellet mill?(2)

During pellet mill production, short and broken pellets sometimes occur. What causes this? The first consideration for pellet milling issues leading to short and broken pellets is the particle size of the raw material. Secondly, the moisture content of the raw material is important; generally, it should be around 15%. If the moisture content is too high, the pellet hardness will be low, and the pellets produced by the pellet mill will easily become loose. Additionally, if the die compression ratio is too small, the finished pellets will contain too much loose powder and will not form a proper shape. If the die pressure roller is severely worn, and a sudden increase in powder production is observed during normal production, it may indicate that the pellet mill die pressure roller has reached the end of its service life and should be replaced promptly. JNSHARE believes that the production of cow dung pellet fuel requires consideration of many factors, including the quality of the raw materials, the condition of the pellet mill, the suitability of the die, and manual operation.
