Have you ever encountered unstable current in your biomass pellet mill? What are some solutions?

2026-01-05 14:00:20

To obtain consistently high-quality pellets and maximize production efficiency, the pellet mill current must be accurately controlled near the desired value. However, during production, users often experience unstable current due to seemingly minor details, affecting production and increasing costs. What causes unstable current in biomass pellet mills?

1. Faulty ammeter, equipment configuration issues, or fluctuating power supply voltage.

2. Raw materials contain hard impurities, such as iron filings or stones.

3. The gap between the pressure roller and the ring die is adjusted too large or too small, resulting in excessive equipment wear.

4. Severely worn feed cutters on the pellet mill, leading to uneven material distribution.

5. The feed rate exceeds the output rate.

6. Uneven tension in the pellet mill drive belt.
