To optimize and extend the service life of a pellet machine's ring die, it is recommended to coat the bell mouth with a protective, anti-corrosion coating. This will extend the service life of the pellet machine's ring die. Furthermore, it is important to remove sand, gravel, and metal impurities from the raw materials. An appropriate heat treatment process should be used to increase the hardness of the wear-resistant layer on the inner surface of the pellet machine's ring die. To improve the wear resistance of the ring die, it is also necessary to properly adjust the gap between the pressure roller and the die. Normally, the gap between the pressure roller and the die is smaller for smaller die holes and larger for larger die holes. New ring dies have a smaller gap, while older ones have a larger gap. Finally, it is recommended to optimize the feed so that the material is evenly distributed in the pelletizing chamber to prevent the ring die and pressure roller from partial wear and premature failure.
