4. Worn and failed main shaft bearings with excessive clearance. To check, use a magnetic dial indicator holder attached to the main shaft disc, with the indicator needle against the rotor. Then, use a pry bar to enter the gap between the rotor and the main shaft disc and pry the rotor. The value displayed on the dial indicator is the corresponding bearing clearance.
5. Changes in raw materials can make pelleting difficult and cause vibration. It is recommended to adjust the raw material formula appropriately.
6. The auxiliary shaft bearings consist of four drive shafts. After each 1500-hour run, lubrication to 25 ml is required. Otherwise, prolonged operation without maintenance will lead to bearing failure, loss of transmission, and severe vibration in the pellet machine.
